In my search for the best places to eat healthy I came across this wonderful find at Cedar & Herndon!! Yes, John’s Incredible Pizza Co. has pizza, pasta, bread sticks and yummy deserts but the bonus is that they have one of the best salad bars in town!!
Service:
This place is basically self-serve. But the staff is very attentive and our table was kept clean and clear of empty plates. The staff refilling the salad/pizza bar kept the bar clean and well stocked.

Food:
As this is healthy eating month I hit the salad bar. This was quite possibly the best salad bar I have been to. It starts off with your choice of two kinds of fresh greens and moves on to an impressive selection of veggies and toppings. The dressings are house made and very good. My little tip…the bacon bits at the salad portion of the bar are imitation but the bacon at the potato bar is fresh and delicious. Treat yourself to a breadstick as they are worth the extra sit ups lol!
The pasta bar had several selections of pasta and sauce as well as fresh parm for toppings. There is also a potato bar with all the fixings for a forkin yummy baked potato. In addition to all this there are two choices of soup to warm yer belly.
The pizza bar was a bit of a disappointment. While the pizza was hot and looked delicious it did not deliver in the taste department. Very bland and the sauce was way too sweet. Not worth the cheat is your watching your weight.
The desert bar was just ok. The treats offered were not house made and did not look appealing at all. The soft serve ice cream was good, but it’s pretty hard to fork up soft serve.

Price:
The price is very reasonable for what is available. Even if you go for just the salad bar it is still a great deal. Under $15 for all you can eat salad and drink.

Overall:
So, who would’ve thought that the best salad bar in town is in a pizza playland?! But it’s true. So, my overall rating is twofold. While the salad bar gets a huge forks up the pizza is just so so .
